In simple terms, a medical central suction system is a negative pressure gas source, which consists of a vacuum pump, a vacuum tank, a sewage tank, a check valve, a vacuum solenoid valve, a sterilizing filter, a vacuum sterilization device and an intelligent control system, etc., to absorb and discharge medical waste gas and dirty liquid. Usually, the medical device used to extract gas, solids and liquids in the oral cavity that we see in dental clinics is a medical central suction system. Of course, its use is not only for the oral cavity, but also for terminals such as operating rooms and emergency rooms;
The negative pressure gas source in the medical central suction system is provided by a vacuum pump unit; the vacuum pump makes the suction system pipeline reach the required negative pressure value through suction, and then connects the terminal equipment that needs vacuum suction through the pipeline to absorb and discharge medical waste. Common vacuum pumps include liquid ring vacuum pumps, rotary vane vacuum pumps and claw vacuum pumps, which can be selected by users. At the end of the central suction system (i.e. the patient end), a device to prevent liquid backflow will also be provided.
In addition to the dental department, operating room and emergency room mentioned above, the medical central suction system can also be deployed in various wards of the hospital. With the intelligent control system, the system management can be simplified and no special person is required. Under intelligent control, the system can monitor the pressure and start and stop the vacuum pump. If the negative pressure value exceeds the set range, it will also start an automatic alarm, greatly improving the reliability and safety of the system.
