What are the requirements for infrastructure in the PSA medical oxygen room?

As a molecular sieve air separation equipment, the PSA oxygen system cannot be placed in the open air. Therefore, in the implementation of the project, most of the infrastructure planning of the machine room needs to be considered (except for the containerized oxygen production system). According to relevant regulations in my country, the infrastructure planning of the PSA medical oxygen room should consider the following requirements;

Machine room infrastructure

1. The machine room floor should be concrete, and the load-bearing capacity must meet the needs of the equipment. The floor is required to be flat, wear-resistant and non-slip.

2. The net indoor area of the overall oxygen station must meet the equipment placement. And reserve a gap to facilitate the subsequent daily maintenance and repair of the equipment.

3. The doors and windows of the machine room should be opened outward, and combustible materials such as wood and plastic steel should not be used. The air intake of the oxygen production equipment room adopts natural ventilation with blinds. Install silent exhaust fans for forced exhaust.

4. The machine room should be treated with necessary sound insulation and noise reduction.

5. The room is equipped with heating or air conditioning. The optimal indoor ambient temperature should be 15℃~35℃, and the extreme ambient temperature should be 10℃~40℃. Electric heating is not allowed.

6. The room has reliable drainage measures to the outside and antifreeze measures for sewage in winter.

7. Power distribution in the room

a. Primary load, independent power supply, independent distribution cabinet, separated from lighting and ventilation electricity.

b. The total power supply voltage, frequency, power, and number of circuit breakers in the distribution cabinet meet the equipment requirements.

c. All electrical devices in the room should be located in a fixed position or protected to minimize the risk of tangible damage.

d. Total power line: 380V/50Hz, total power>Kw, and emergency backup power supply should be set.

Facts have proved that good infrastructure can play a good protective role for the PSA medical oxygen production system, which can significantly improve the reliability and availability of the equipment; it can keep the equipment in good working condition during long-term continuous work.
