Reference time for maintenance of vulnerable parts in VPSA oxygen production system

VPSA oxygen production system is a more environmentally friendly and energy-saving vacuum pressure swing adsorption air separation equipment. As a mechanical equipment, regular maintenance is essential. This article will comprehensively introduce the service life of various vulnerable and consumable parts in VPSA oxygen production system for your reference.

VPSA oxygen production system consists of seven parts: blower system, vacuum pump system, instrument air system, oxygen and nitrogen separation system, oxygen balance system, oxygen booster system, and electrical control system. Among them, vulnerable and consumable parts include lithium molecular sieve, air filter element, pneumatic valve seal, solenoid valve, oxygen analyzer sensor and oxygen booster piston ring.

Under normal use, the service life of the above-mentioned vulnerable and consumable parts is as follows;

1. Under normal use, lithium molecular sieve can work continuously for about 8 years. Under normal use and operation, molecular sieve does not need to be added or replaced.

2. The air filter works continuously for 4000 hours.

3. The pneumatic valve seal needs to be replaced after the pneumatic valve is opened and closed 1.5 million times. If it is within 1.5 million times, it does not need to be replaced as long as it operates normally and there is no leakage.

4. The electromagnetic valve is also replaced after opening and closing 1.5 million times; if it is within 1.5 million times, it does not need to be replaced as long as it operates normally and there is no leakage.

5. The oxygen analyzer sensor needs to be replaced after 20,000 hours or when the sensor fails

6. The piston ring of the oxygen booster needs to be replaced after 3,000 hours or when it is worn

It can be seen from this that the maintenance frequency of the VPSA oxygen production system is not high, and the total maintenance cost is not high. Compared with deep cold air separation and traditional PSA oxygen production systems, it can be regarded as more economical and environmentally friendly.
