The maintenance of the PSA oxygen generation system is a topic that many people are concerned about. Here we will pick out some of the more important points to talk about.

First of all, the maintenance of the air treatment system involves air compressors, filters, and cold dryers; let's talk about air compressors first. The most common one is the oil-injected screw air compressor, which is a micro-oil screw air compressor. Its maintenance involves air filter, oil filter, oil separator, and oil. It needs regular maintenance. There is also an air-cooled air compressor. The maintenance of this type of air compressor involves regular cleaning (purging) of the heat exchanger fan and heat exchanger. Next, it is the filter. The filter element inside needs to be replaced regularly, usually every 4,000 hours. Then there is the cold dryer. The condenser needs to be purged regularly, especially in the spring in the north, when there will be a lot of catkins and fluff. They can easily block the gaps in the condenser, resulting in poor heat dissipation. These must be cleaned in time. In addition, we should also check the drainer regularly, because the moisture dried out by the cold dryer will be discharged through an automatic, electronic or float drainer. During the drainage process, it is necessary to observe whether its drainage is unobstructed and clean it regularly.

After talking about the air handling system, let's talk about the PSA oxygen generator. Strictly speaking, there is no daily maintenance for the PSA oxygen generator; even if there are some abnormalities in the equipment and we get alarm feedback through the system monitoring system, this does not belong to the scope of daily maintenance.

Next is the supercharger, which mainly refers to the piston supercharger. The maintenance of this type of supercharger requires regular replacement of the piston ring, and the replacement frequency is about once every 2000 hours or 3000 hours.

Finally, there are air buffer tanks and oxygen buffer tanks; in daily inspections, the drainage status is mainly observed. If all drainage is manual, it needs to be drained once every 2-3 hours. If it is automatic drainage, just check whether the automatic drainer is normal.

The above is the maintenance of the PSA oxygen system. In general, daily maintenance of the PSA oxygen production system is still very important, which can prevent equipment failures, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the service life of the equipment, which can generate direct economic benefits for the enterprise.
