In the oxygen supply of medical centers, we often see the busbar; as a part of the oxygen supply of medical centers, the role of the busbar is irreplaceable; in GB50751-2012 "Technical Specifications for Medical Gas Engineering" and YY 1468-2016 "Oxygen Concentrator Supply System for Medical Gas Pipeline System", it is clearly stipulated that neither liquid oxygen nor medical molecular sieve oxygen generator oxygen source can be used as an emergency oxygen source, only the busbar can be used as an emergency oxygen source.

From the working principle, the gas busbar is a device for centralized inflation or gas supply. It connects the gas to the main busbar through valves and conduits so as to inflate several cylinders at the same time; or after decompression and stabilization, it is transported by pipeline to the terminal equipment at the place of use to ensure that the gas source pressure is stable and adjustable and to achieve the purpose of uninterrupted gas supply.

The gas busbar is not only used for medical oxygen, it can also be used for helium, nitrogen, air and other gases.

The busbar can be divided into three types: manual switching, pneumatic (semi-automatic) switching and automatic switching according to the different switching modes of the left and right groups of gas cylinders. It has the characteristics of low failure rate, high reliability, strong timeliness, and no influence from power failure. In addition, the busbar can also be equipped with gas heaters, flashback preventers, pressure relief valves, gas leakage alarms and other products according to different needs of users to expand the functions of the busbar in practical applications.
